 In my experience, we learned about the culture and history of the nation through the book or the movie. Today I have to talk about the movie which was written by my favorite writer Ernest Hemingway.

 The title of the movie is "The snows of Kilimanjaro”, which was written as a short story, yet, getting popular, they made a movie and the location was the continent of Africa, through the movie we could watch the famous for the mountain of Kilimanjaro.

 In the movie, the main character who is a novelist was hurt on a hunting trip on his leg and could not get proper treatment, so his leg was getting gangrene that produces a smell that is the symbol of death, as well as the the smell of rotten will attract the bird that name is a vulture which you could see in the desert or in Africa, flying around him.

 So, he worried that he will die in Africa, during the experience of pain and high fever, he recalled his memory of what he did or want to do in his life. However, in the end, his friend came back on an airplane, and his wife's simple homemade operation that was worked, so the dead bird, and vulture fled away, and the story has a good ending.

 Another famous book, as well as a movie about Africa, is "Out of Africa", written by Isak Dinesen, who was Danish and went to Kenya to venture, so, she bought 500 acres of land and married an English Baron, yet the marriage failed, and the coffee plantation, which had a good harvest yet, the fire destroyed all of her profit. Through the troubles, she is having, still she finds another good person who will be her 2nd husband, yet, he died in an airplane crash.

 So, she donated her land to the Kenya government and left Africa, after that she never went back to Kenya, Africa.

 Gone back to her homeland, with her experience of Africa, she wrote a book, that book become very famous, from

the book they made the movie which become famous. After reading her book, I made the trip to Africa around 11 years ago, we visited Kenya and watched the snow of Kilimanjaro from far sight and the house where Isak Dinesen lived when she lived in Kenya, ride around Africa Safari car without a rooftop and slept hotel owned by Korean Investor, and ate Korean food was managed by a Korean owner that we can not get away from Korea, yet, we enjoyed that trip very much.

 One notable thing is from the donation of her land to the Kenya government, the land become a public park, and there everybody is enjoying visiting there.

 Now, after more than 11 years, still that trip gives me pleasure and smile as well since life is short, so we have to hurry to see the world before too late.
